This pictorial version of the ASCIA First Aid Plan for Anaphylaxis, has been developed in response to requests for a more visual plan which can be used as a poster and  assist people with limited reading ability. 

This plan includes infographics showing the:

• Signs of mild, moderate and severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis); and
• Actions for anaphylaxis.

The plan is best viewed when printed as an A3 poster which can be displayed in schools, children’s education/care (CEC) services and other community settings.

*ReadSpeaker has recently been installed to the ASCIA website to improve accessibility of ASCIA information for patients, consumers and carers, by allowing text to speech (TTS). This will improve access to people with vision impairment, limited reading ability or learning disabilities.

As well as ReadSpeaker allowing TTS, by highlighting the text and selecting “translate’ information can be translated into 20 different languages, which improves access to people with non-English speaking backgrounds.
